This little shop has quite a following, for the coffee, the baked goods, and the entire general atmosphere. They're supposed to be opening a West Village location, but the opening has been put off for so long it seems like that may never happen. [Photo]

"It's in the Grandmont-Rosedale district, a neighborhood that is often overlooked, and the shop is often utilized as a community gathering place. Most importantly, the shop owner - Amanda Brewington - cares about the coffee! There's very little fuss with the drinks, because once you've had a cup of the best drip coffee around, you realize you don't need anything else masking the taste.
