Cocktail Confidential: Detroit's Best Bars According To Its Bartenders

View as Map

For Cocktail Week 2013 Eater Detroit asked bartenders from all over the city and Metro Detroit about their favorite underrated or under-appreciated bars, the kind of places they go on their off nights.

The featured bartenders hail from The Rattlesnake Club, The Oakland, Torino, The Sugar House, Great Lakes Coffee, and Bailout Productions, and all of them were awesome enough to take time from their busy days to give a shout out to someone else's bar and business. The chosen venues vary widely from dive bars to the city's finest establishments, but they all have one thing in common: bartenders who love them. Here are the responses, be they short and sweet or on the lengthy side, in the bartenders' own words, so go ahead, learn all of their secrets.
