Lions fans are rejoicing — not because the Lions made it to Super Bowl LVI or anything — but because longtime former Detroit favorite Matthew Stafford took the LA Rams to the big game this year (hey, we’ll take what we can get, right?). That’s reason enough to tune in to the big game. For those who plan on rooting when Stafford’s Chargers face-off with the Cincinnati Bengals, those who are in it for the commercials, or even for those die-hard Puppy Bowl fans (hey, doggo has to have fun, too, right?), there are plenty of options around town that are either airing the game in-person on February 13 (with drink and food specials) or serving up social-distancing-friendly takeout specials for game-viewing at home. Here’s where to score on beer, tacos, wings, pizza, pierogi, and all other manner of calorie-crammed snacks and drinks on Super Bowl Sunday around metro Detroit.
