Grocery stores are now required under Michigan’s stay-at-home order to offer special hours for people at greater risk of becoming sick from the novel coronavirus as well as limits on the number of people inside a building. But some Ann Arbor restaurants are trying to take some of the burden off of shoppers by providing alternatives to their regular supermarkets. The restaurants are working with distributors as well as small farms and restaurant suppliers to support Michigan’s local food system and keep people safe.
