El Club Ups the Ante, With Free Tickets to Those Who Get Vaccinated

Southwest Detroit venue: ‘Get vaxxed and get tix’

El Club, the all-ages venue for live music, food, and cocktails, is giving away free event tickets to patrons who can show they were vaccinated between September 1 and October 31, 2021.

The Detroit venue recently said that, as of September 1, it is requiring proof of vaccination status or a negative COVID test within 72 hours for entry. Because El Club is an all-ages venue, the new requirements extend to children younger than 12. Those too young to receive the vaccine must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test before entering the venue. Digital copies of a card are acceptable.

Perhaps an incentive to get more guests vaccinated, the club says the first 50 people who send a copy of their newly inked vaccination card to drew@elclubdetroit.com will receive a free entry to the El Club event of their choice.

A growing number of Detroit entertainment venues are requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to enter.
