A new-to-Michigan taco chain is slated to land in the former B Spot Burgers restaurant space in Royal Oak next month. Columbus, Ohio-based Condado Tacos will open at 310 S Main St. on Thursday, August 8, per a release.
Condado is known for its build-your-own tacos format and margaritas. Diners can choose from a very long list of taco shell options ranging from a hard corn shell to a spicy Firecracker hard shell to a soft shell flour tortilla. The choices for filling include tequila lime steak, house-made chorizo, scrambled eggs, bbq pulled jackfruit, Thai chili tofu, and more. Customers can then add on toppings like jicama-cabbage slaw, pickled red onions, and queso. Orders are placed using a scantron-like sheet.
Condado Tacos also features a full bar with eight different styles of margaritas served by-the-glass and in pitchers. Mezcal, tequila, and beer are also available.
This is the 13 outpost for Condado Tacos, which has locations in Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. The first Michigan outpost will serve breakfast all day with hours from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
