New Center has welcomed another restaurant to its ranks. Growing Dearborn-based chain Zo’s Good Burger began taking orders for halal burgers and loaded fries at 2894 W Grand Blvd. next to City Wings in mid-January.

The New Center restaurant is the third outpost of the fast-casual chain in metro Detroit and the company’s first franchise location. Founder Zo Olabi originally started slinging burgers out of a Dearborn gas station in 2013. A year later the company revamped its brand and opened a new location in Garden City before relocating the original establishment to a larger building along Michigan Avenue in 2015.

Zo’s Good Burger offers seven styles of burgers including the flagship “Good Burger” featuring a pretzel bun, fried mozzarella sticks, American cheese, onion rings, and special sauce. Customers can substitute out chicken patties and crispy chicken patties for any of the burgers. There’s also a build-your-own burger section on the menu for those that want to customize even more. In addition to the main attractions, the chain also serves wraps, loaded french fries, and items like chicken fingers.

The newest location of Zo’s Good Burger is just another sign of the big changes underway in New Center. Numerous restaurants and bars including Good Cakes and Bakes, Baobab Fare, and others have announced projects in the area over the last year as the neighborhood has received increasing investment from developers.

Zo’s Good Burger is located at 2894 W Grand Blvd.; open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
