Bartenders from across metro Detroit are gearing up for a larger than ever Detroit Cocktail Week. Detroit’s biggest annual spirits event expanded last year to a six-day series and is doing it again this fall by adding a seventh day of boozy revelry.

This 2018 event runs from October 1 through October 7 and includes dozens of activities ranging from distillery tours to cocktail dinners to industry-focused seminars. Everything leads up to the main attraction: the Detroit Cocktail Classic. This event, hosted at Eastern Market, will feature cocktail tastings from more than 45 different regional bars including familiar names like Candy Bar, Kiesling, Detroit City Distillery, and the Oakland. Attendees will also get to preview drinks from forthcoming restaurants like Cork and Gabel. The whole week is capped off with brunch at Detroit Shipping Company and a party at Punch Bowl Social.

The cost of each event ranges from free admission to $120. Tickets to the Cocktail Classic range from $40 to $65; that includes drink tickets and appetizers as well as admission into the afterparty at Deluxx Fluxx.
