Peacock Indian Cuisine Offers Classic Dishes in Dearborn

Peacock Indian Cuisine is now open at 13736 Michigan Ave. in Dearborn.

The “fine casual” restaurant serves a menu of “Quality Ingredients And Precision For Maximum Enjoyment.” This includes samosas, saag paneer, chana masala, butter chicken, chicken curry, and more.

On opening day, Peacock Indian Cuisine posted the following message on Instagram:

Thank you all for being so patient. We have worked very hard the last 8 months getting everything perfect for you. Like every new business, there may be some hiccups in the beginning so please be understanding. Our focus is to provide every customer with the best possible experience and the best possible food.

Of course, the first day of a restaurant is always a bit chaotic, but that didn’t stop the first Yelp reviewer from leaving Peacock Indian Cuisine a single star.

Was it a Grand Opening lunch today? I doubt. We are a group of 6 with huge expectations went to this restaurant and we came out with HUGE disappointment. Delivering a curry and roti took almost 45mins, not worth the wait. Potato Chips as an appetizer, come on u guys .

Was that a buffet?? If yes, $12 for that food is too high. Food was not bad, it should’ve tasted better. I understand the 1st day Rush, hoping you guys improvise.

Overall, Not Satisfied...!!

Ouch. Perhaps give the restaurant a few days to work out some of those kinks.
