New restaurant arrives in Troy
Troy’s dining lineup is continuing to grow with the addition of Station Square Kitchen + Bar. The restaurant is slated to open Monday, June 18, inside the former Papa Vino’s Italian Kitchen at 1317 Coolidge Hwy., per the Detroit News. The 240-seat restaurant will offer burgers, salads, thin-crust pizza, and a full bar.
New happy hour in Brush Park
Brush Park’s corner restaurant Empire Kitchen & Cocktails is kicking off happy hour service from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Monday, June 18. The menu includes $3 draft and domestic bottled beers as well as $6 house wine pours and cocktails. The walnut paneled “American bistro” is also offering discounted food deals such as half-off spiced cauliflower and $5-off wings and pizza.
Brunch returns to Eastern Market restaurant
There‘s a fresh brunch option to try during Saturday market. Gather in Eastern Market is reviving its brunch service on Saturday, June 16. Chef Jessi Patuano’s menu features options like pastries with lavender butter and jam, flapjacks with fresh blueberries, and smoked country ham with ramp relish and pimento cheese. Customers can pair their meals with rosé slushees, coffee, bloody marys, and soft serve ice cream. The service runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
