GreenSpace & Go, the fast-casual sister outpost of Ferndale’s popular vegan restaurant Greenspace Cafe, is poised to open in Royal Oak on Monday, April 9, a representative for the restaurant confirms to Eater. The anticipated dine-in and carryout spot is located at 32867 Woodward Ave. near 14 Mile Rd. in the former Moe’s Southwest Grill space.
GreenSpace was founded by cardiologist and vegan diet guru Joel Kahn, his wife Karen, and son, Daniel, in 2015 along the Nine Mile strip in Ferndale and has become a popular spot for vegans and vegetarians. The restaurant made its first foray into the quick-service space in 2017 with a food truck called the GreenSpace Jungle Truck.
The new, fast-casual restaurant will feature limited dine-in window seating and a large communal table as well as dedicated parking in the front and back of the building. Diners can expect options like raw juices and smoothies alongside grain bowls, soups, and wraps alongside baked goods and smoothies. The restaurant will also accept orders online (the website goes live later today) or by phone for speedier pickup.
GreenSpace & Go is located at 32867 Woodward Ave.; open for lunch and dinner 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 248-850-8500.
