Local fast-casual chain Estia Greek Street Food is continuing its Southeast Michigan expansion with the upcoming arrival of their third location at 5753 12 Mile in Warren. The eatery — which focuses on hand-made pitas, customizable gyros, bowls and Greek salads — opened its first location in Troy three years ago.

With this Warren outpost, the founders hope to bank off the lunch crowd coming from the massive General Motors Technical Center industrial complex across the street.

The 3,000-square foot space will feature capacity for 90 seats on the ground floor of the Heritage Village mixed-use condo and commercial development, which shadows a Meijer shopping center. A press release says the new Warren location will boast a design aesthetic similar to the original Troy location, including an "industrial feel” utilizing reclaimed materials from the local area, as well as an outdoor patio that will seat 24.

Build-out will start soon and is expected to take three to four months. The eatery plans to be open daily 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
