Comerica Park revealed its latest lineup of absurd, over-the-top novelty foods today ahead of the 2018 baseball season opener on Thursday, March 29 and — as in past years — it does not disappoint.

Delaware North, the food service operator that provides concession at the home of the Detroit Tigers, unveiled a short list of its more unusual stadium food options. First up to the plate is a chili dog dubbed “An Ode to Detroit Dog” featuring a natural casing hot dog topped with brisket chili, habanero queso, and scallions. Comerica Park has also recruited two new dessert-style egg rolls into the mix — one with an apple pie filling and the other filled with chocolaty Nutella.

This season’s dining options follow a long tradition at ballparks of high-calorie items and novelty food mashups ranging from coney dog pizzas to deep fried Snickers bars and bratwurst pops.
