The expansive second outpost of Ferndale’s fancy snack board purveyor Mongers’ Provisions debuted to a Saturday, December 1, in Cass Corridor to hordes of Noel Night revelers. The new shop is located at 4240 Cass Ave., Suite 111, representatives confirm to Eater.
Owners Zach Berg and William Werner opened their first counter (formerly known as Provisions) inside butcher shop Farm Field Table last fall. The new outlet is significantly larger at 1,028 square feet and showcases a broader selection of products. The store features items like imported cheese, olive oils, olives, and charcuterie as well as a huge variety of chocolate bars from around the world. Additionally, customers will be able to find a small selection of fresh and frozen meats from Farm Field Table. Berg and Werner also plan to use the space for education and events such as guided tastings.
Mongers’ is ramping up towards an official grand opening on Saturday, December 8 with cheese and chocolate samples.
Mongers’ Provisions is located at 4240 Cass Ave., Suite 111; open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
