Michigan-based grocer Plum Market plans to open in the Ally Detroit Center by the summer of 2019. Billed as the company’s first “street concept,” the downtown location will offer a scaled-down version of the Plum Market experience.
The 500 Woodward Ave. Plum Market will offer fast-casual dining options, ready made items, groceries, and a bar.
A press release for the upcoming store breaks it all down:
This new location will feature an onsite kitchen serving chef crafted, prepared foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Grab & Go food options will include self-service hot foods, fresh salads, soups, and signature sandwiches, made from All Natural and peak of season ingredients. Plum Market’s space will also include a full-service bar offering wine, local beer, and craft cocktails as well as a coffee bar brewing Zingerman’s Coffee. Packaged snacks and fresh cut flowers will be available for retail, as well as Zingerman’s artisan baked goods and specialty candies. The location will be home to ‘The Spirit Room,’ Plum Market’s rentable event space with outdoor seating overlooking the Spirit of Detroit.
Stay tuned for more details as they come our way.
Update, November 20, 2:50 p.m.: Bedrock has released new renderings of Plum Market in downtown Detroit.
