New bar/restaurant the Charlevoix is set to open in Grosse Pointe Park, at 14927 Charlevoix St., any day now.
Managing partners Nick Arrigo, Brandon Belknap, and Brian Czerny plan to create a bar space with street food featuring their take on Caribbean, Korean, Thai, Mexican, and New Orleans fare. “The bar program will feature an original 10 cocktail list, cocktails on tap, craft beers (both local and national) and a diverse wine program,” says Arrigo, “We will also be open late, with the kitchen being open ‘til midnight, on Monday through Wednesday and 1 a.m. on Thursday through Saturday, with the bar always being open ‘til 2 a.m.
The plan is to have a quiet opening next weekend with perhaps a grand opening on Monday, November 19.
The Charlevoix’s hours of operation will begin Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at noon. “We plan on offering carryout during the lunch hours starting in January,” says Arrigo,” and will begin lunch service in the spring once the patio has been constructed.
