Grosse Pointe Park newcomer the Charlevoix has officially arrived at 14927 Charlevoix St. The restaurant and bar opened its doors on Wednesday, November 14, with a menu featuring playful, internationally-influenced bar snacks.
Nick Arrigo, Brandon Belknap, and Brian Czerny are behind the new project, which is located just a few blocks from Atwater in the Park and Red Crown. Customers can expect options like briske-kimchi tacos, salt and pepper shrimp, corned beef fried rice, and salt and vinegar wings on the menu as well as smoked mushroom po’boys. Prices range between $4 for a taco to $16 for a shrimp po’boy.
The Charlevoix’s menu also features eight cocktails including the Five Burroughs — a combination of rye, amaro montenegro, zucca, and orinoco bitters. There’s also plenty of beer on draft and in the bottle as well as wines by the glass or bottle.
The restaurant is hosting its grand opening today with a private event at 5:30 p.m. followed by a public opening at 7 p.m. Take a peek at the opening menus below:
