A new sandwich shop called Spread Deli and Coffee is settling into Cass Corridor today. The restaurant opened its doors for the first time on Monday, November 19, for breakfast after numerous inspection-related delays, Metro Times reports.
The restaurant is located at 4215 Cass Ave., just around the corner from Avalon International Breads. It features a modern, industrial interior with lots of white walls, exposed ductwork, and art plus a handful of two top seats for customers to dine-in. The menu features options like bagels, cinnamon rolls, and avocado toast. There’s also five different styles of deli sandwich such as the Big Al with turkey, avocado, tomato, red onion, sriracha mayo, provolone, lettuce, and cherry peppers. Spread also serves its own roast of drip coffee. Spread is expected to open at 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sundays for breakfast and lunch.
This newest addition to join the block. Just a few steps away, a former bar called Cobb’s Corner is getting a revival with plans to open this fall.
