Kruse & Muer Unveils New Restaurant in Royal Oak

Rochester Hills-based restaurant group Kruse & Muer unveiled its latest location on Tuesday in Royal Oak. The eatery dubbed Kruse & Muer on Woodward is situated in the building previously occupied by Vinsetta Grill and features a casual atmosphere with a wide variety of dishes ranging from seafood to pizza.

Birmingham architects Ron & Roman designed the 140-seat restaurant, which features glass chandeliers interspersed with industrial lighting and a mixture of wood booths alongside low and high top tables. There is also on-site parking for patrons motoring up Woodward Avenue.

The restaurant is designed for both dine-in and carry-out and offers a full bar with cocktails. Diners can look out for items like crispy and raw oysters, mussels, baby back ribs, and chicken tortellini on the dinner menu. Lunch service is expected to kick off on Friday at 11 a.m. During happy hour, the bar will offer drink deals and a short list of dishes for $5 each including calamari, fish tacos, and stuffed mushrooms. Kruse & Muer on Woodward is located at 28028 Woodward Ave. in Royal Oak; dinner service begins at 4 p.m. through Friday; beginning August 11 the restaurant will open from noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, and noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday.
