NEWS — Fire fighters extinguished a relatively minor blaze at The Old Shillelagh in Greektown early Tuesday morning. Crews say the fire appears to have started in the grill area of the kitchen and made its way into the basement of the popular Irish Pub. The fire took roughly 15 minutes to put out. CRIMEWIRE — Police are searching for tips related to a burglary that occurred early Monday morning at Selden Standard in Midtown. According to surveillance video, two suspects entered the restaurant and stole a safe from the office and left in a dark SUV. [Detroit News]
