Tour Ferndale Food Truck Park/Restaurant Detroit Fleat

Take a look

Starting at 5 p.m. today, Ferndale will have a permanent space for food trucks to park with Detroit Fleat. Located in the former Wing Hing Inn Chinese restaurant, this newcomer features food trucks in residence Delectabowl, The Mac Shack, Pita Post, Drifter Coffee, and a rotating slot of mobile kitchens.

In addition to the trucks, the main building features a traditional restaurant and bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails. Fleat’s menu focuses on Mexican street food and sliders with Treat Dreams ice cream for dessert.

Eater photographers Michelle and Chris Gerard take a tour of Detroit Fleet before it opens. Check out the photos here.

After the opening, Fleat is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to minight, Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to midnight. The park/restaurant is located at 1820 E Nine Mile Rd.
