New Birmingham Cafe Will Print Selfies on Lattes

Not your average latte art

Facebook

For anyone who has ever wanted a photo of their child on a latte, the future is here at new cafe Birmingham Roast. Located at 525 East Brown St. in Birmingham, the shop features a Ripple Maker, which can print high-resolution photos in foam. An app allows customers to connect to the machine, which can customize lattes in less than 10 seconds.

While Birmingham Roast boasts that it “offers a welcoming environment with a third wave coffee experience,” the draw for selfies on a espresso drink may be the big pull. Who can resist posting their face on a coffee on Instagram?

A few examples of Birmingham Roast customers’ creations include a baby, a selfie, a pug, and a giraffe. Think of all the likes. Achieve social media greatness through a foam printer.

Not weird at all. #latteart
