Ann Arbor restaurant group SavCo (Sava’s, Aventura, and Tavolina) has acquired the former Lord Fox space in Dixboro. The 5400 Plymouth Rd. address was most recently Roger Monk’s Tavern. SavCo founder and CEO, Sava Farah, lives in the area of the restaurant and told Michigan Live that she wants to renovate the building and turn it into a place where the entire community can gather.
As per the press release, the forthcoming restaurant will offer “farm-inspired comfort food” in a family-friendly atmosphere. Farah and team will start demolition and renovation in early August. The original barn structure at 5400 Plymouth Rd. will be preserved as the main bar and casual dining room with new kitchen. Additional dining and event areas will be added. SavCo predicts a spring 2018 opening for the eatery.
