DOWNTOWN — The owner of downtown’s forthcoming Caucus Club relaunch has pushed back the perspective opening date to March, barring any construction or inspection delays. Chef Rick Hussey’s menu is expected to feature oysters, crab, and tuna tartare, steaks, and more. The restaurant is also outfitted with a dry aging room. [Deadline Detroit]

WYANDOTTE — The Downriver rendition of Bobcat Bonnie’s is currently hiring staff with positions available for cooks, servers, hostesses, dishwashers, and food runners. The second outpost is slated to open this month. [Facebook]

CASS CORRIDOR — Pastry chef Jessica Bouren’s very ambitious early winter timeline for launching her forthcoming cake shop and cafe has been extended. Cake Ambition, which scored a Motor City Match grant in January, is now on track for a March opening, Bouren tells Eater. [EaterWire]

FERNDALE — Voyager’s buildout is moving along at a clip. The Ferndale-based seafood restaurant and raw bar is working with Five/Eighths Architecture on the renovations of the former garage on Vester Street. The firm has been diligently chronicling the transformation on Instagram, offering previews of the shellfish display case, mirror walls, and shots of the painting action. [Instagram]
