This week it’s paying off to be from Detroit. Beer lovers can score free booze on February 7, as Comedy Central picks up the tab at more than 20 local bars from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. as a promotion for the premiere of its new series Detroiters. Customers are limited to one beer and one participating location, according to the release.
The show centers around two best friends Sam Richardson and Tim Robinson trying to make it in the advertising industry. The show leans in heavily on Detroit culture, particularly its bars and food. In trailers, the pair are seen hanging out in cars eating Coney dogs, riding The Michigan Pedaler bicycle pub, and watching their ads on TVs inside sports bars. Spots like Cliff Bell’s and Temple Bar also make appearances.
While the pilot episode is already available online for television subscribers with a login, Detroiters officially airs on the channel tomorrow night at 10:30 EST. Check out all the spots to score a free beer below:
