HAZEL PARK — Huddled on the same block as Mabel Gray, photographer Joe Vaughn’s secretive bar and restaurant project, Joe Bar, is making progress. The establishment is currently on the hunt for servers and building’s exterior now sports a patio area and salvaged signage. The team from Mabel Gray is also expected to reopen nearby Doug’s Delight as a seasonal dessert shop this year. [EaterWire/MLive]

BRUSH PARK — The owners of forthcoming cafe and roastery New Order Coffee revealed some new details about their menu last week. Among the tidbits: New Order’s lattes will be flavored using housemade marshmallows in vanilla, raspberry, and caramel varieties. New Order is slated to arrive this spring. [Daily Coffee News]

WEST VILLAGE — The 2016 Hatch Detroit winner Live Cycle Delight is poised to debut in late-March with spin classes, TRX training, and a juice bar Fresh 101 serving raw juices, smoothies, and vegan and vegetarian dishes. [Crain’s]

PONTIAC — Craft brewery and restaurant Fillmore 13 Brewery is expected to launch within the next two weeks. The taproom will offer 20 beers plus pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers. [Oakland Press]
