Celebrity chef Cat Cora’s latest airport restaurant is coming in for a landing tomorrow at DTW, according to a release. Dubbed Cat Cora’s Taproom, the project has been underway in the undeniably superior McNamara Terminal since last year. The new restaurant fills the spaces formerly occupied by Slapshotz Bar and National Coney Island Express near gate A24.

The menu is expected to feature gastropub fare including a Ploughman’s Platter with assorted meats, cheeses, and pickles, with bread alongside port-marinated lamb shank and bangers and mash. The bar will also serve a variety of local craft beers and Michigan-made spirits.
This isn’t the only newcomer to join the McNamara Terminal’s expanding restaurant lineup. The Robert Mondavi Experience wine bar is slated to open near gate C19, while the B Gates are gaining an Embers lounge and a Papa Joe’s outpost.
