Bobcat Bonnie’s will make its official comeback in Wyandotte on December 15. With the reopening customers can expect some improvements to the space including new signage and artwork on the walls, Metro Times reports.
Bonnie’s had previously expanded to Wyandotte in February, having struck a deal with the owners of Bourbon’s Brews & Bayou to takeover and revamp the restaurant. However, the partnership wasn’t destined to last. In September, Bonnie’s partner Matthew Buskard abruptly announced that the restaurant at 118 Sycamore St. would be closing after being unable to come to an agreement to buyout the business.
Fortunately for fans of Bonnie’s Cap’n Crunch chicken fingers, Buskard announced in November that he had finally reached an agreement with help from the Wyandotte building’s landlord to purchase the lease and would be reopening in December.
Bobcat Bonnie’s in Wyandotte is expected to initially launch with dinner service-only and will later expand into brunch.
