The owner of Red Hook Coffee is exploring the possibility of a permanent third outpost in Cass Corridor. Owner Sandi Heaselgrave announced today that she has launched a pop-up inside high-end retail Will Leather Goods with the hopes of transitioning into a longer lease, Metro Times reports.

Heaselgrave, who operates locations in West Village and Ferndale, says she’s had been looking for space in the Midtown corridor for nearly two years. She recently overheard that high-end retail shop Will Leather Goods was looking for a partner to operate its in-house cafe.

The pop-up officially launched on November 24 and will run through the end of December as a test run for a possible full-time Red Hook Coffee outpost. Expect Red Hook offerings like espresso and coffee drinks brewed with Stumptown Coffee Roasters beans, plus chai, golden milk, and other frothy hot beverages. Heaselgrave’s cafes are also known for carrying exceptional pastries from Pinwheel Bakery.

If business is good, the shop will officially set down roots at its third location in 2018.

Red Hook Coffee’s shop inside Will Leather Goods is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
