Black Friday is just around the corner, which for many means reviving yourself out of that food coma and burning off the Turkey Day pounds by hunting for the best shopping deals. It's an exercise in endurance, and you will no doubt require food and drink sustenance between fighting for parking and wrestling that lady for the last Star Wars Lego set.

When you’re finished with the Black Friday shopping fray, keep these restaurant deals on food and drink in mind. You'll need to regroup as you add up all the money saved, and these places give you just that.

From discounts on swag from your favorite brewery, to deals on gift cards to your friends and family’s favorite eateries, one of these Black Friday specials will satisfy your needs.

• Mati’s Deli on Monroe is offering up one of its famous corned beef sandwiches for $5. That’s a mouthful.
• Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria and Brewery Detroit is offering 25 percent off select merch from its website Black Friday through Cyber Monday. Click here for details.
• Customers who purchase a $100 gift card from The Whitney will receive membership to its Preservation Partnership and Social Club, which includes a $25 gift card, 10 percent off dining, invitations to “members only” events and a steak and lobster dinner on member’s birthday. The eatery will also donate a $25 gift card to the police department for every $100 gift card sold.
• While you’re taking a tea break at Eli Tea, score a glass tea pot for $10 while supplies last.
• Motor City Gas will be releasing a new Double Hopped Malt Whiskey the day after Thanksgiving, made in collaboration with Axle Brewing and River Rouge Brewing. It’s available in fifth, pints and pours. The distillery will also be selling used 8-gallon whiskey and bourbon barrels at 50 percent off ($75 a piece). Limited to two barrels per person, first come, first serve and must be picked up between noon and midnight Friday.
• Olga’s Kitchen customers will receive $30 in “bonus bucks” for every $100 in gift cards purchased in any denomination. Also, $50 in gift cards will be sold for $39.99 Black Friday through Cyber Monday.
