BIRMINGHAM220 Merrill celebrates its two year anniversary on Tuesday, September 13. During the event, guests can order from a special $2.20 menu featuring appetizers, champagne, and spirits from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. A portion of the day's proceeds will be donated to the Baldwin Public Library. NORTH END — Detroit Grown & Made dinner series spotlights the African American champions of the sustainable food movement with pop-ups including advocate Devita Davison, rotating restaurant (revolver), and Eastside native Maxcel Hardy. The first dinner will be held on Sunday, September 11, at Oakland Avenue Urban Farm with two seatings at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 and are available online, with a glimpse at the menu. EAST SIDE — This summer and fall, small batch ice cream and cheese company Reilly Craft Creamery will pop-up in the West Village as Bloom & Scoop. The shop will offer single-sized servings and take-home pints of handcrafted ice cream, including new flavors like Mexican Hot Chocolate and Killa Beez.
