Not to be outdone by the over-the-top fair-inspired monstrosities at Comerica Park, the cooks at Ford Field plan to unleash their own set of novelty foods on Lions fans this season. An enormous four-pound, nine-inch, bright blue cake donut covered in sprinkles and piped full of apple filling is the highlight of this year’s food lineup. According to Crain’s, the doughnut retails for $15 and comes with an optional side of apple cider (patrons can also order it with rum).

In addition to the giant fried dough gutbuster, fans will find Shock Top Belgian White-bratwursts, pretzels, and Lions logo-branded cheeseburger meals among this year’s new offerings. Mitch Albom’s frozen Philadelphia inspired-Detroit Water Ice Factory and Dearborn Heights burger slinger, Moo Cluck Moo, are also joining the stadium’s concessions stands.

This isn’t the first time, the Lion’s concessions gurus have unleashed giant food on hungry Detroit fans. Last year, the stadium unveiled a hefty $17 pasty.
