After two years of waiting, former Sunday night pop-up Pie-Sci debuts its brick-and-mortar pizzeria next week. The Detroit Free Press confirms that the restaurant located next to Woodbridge Pub on Trumbull will debut on either Thursday or Friday.
The hotly anticipated shop operated by Jeremy Damaske will serve pizzas using Pie-Sci’s signature recipes. The menu will be divided into three categories based on the types of ingredients ranging from classics like meatlovers to funkier combinations like white sauce, shrimp, onion, balsamic glaze, and lime. The pizzas come in small or large sizes and all the ingredients are scratch-made with the exception of the gluten-free crust option.
The restaurant is set up for counter service with two-top seating and stools near the windows overlooking Trumbull. Damaske eventually has plans to add a patio in the back and seating out front. Stay tuned for more updates on Pie-Sci in the coming week.
