Plywood Report: Grey Ghost Gains Signage, Passes Health Inspections

BRUSH PARK — Grey Ghost’s debut appears to be imminent. The meat-centric dining concept (soon to be flanked by a new cafe) gained signage last week and plastic came off the windows in an unusually satisfying video shared on Instagram. EASTERN MARKET — Beyond Juicery + Eatery’s forthcoming Eastern Market outpost is slated to open on Russell Street in early August. A rep for the mini-chain tells Eater the location will be the company’s biggest yet. [EaterWire]

CASS CORRIDOR — The building for Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken is looking nearly complete — presumably putting it on track for that projected August opening. The brick facade is accented with a bright yellow wall. Lighting appears to be installed on the exterior and interior. [EaterWire]

MIDTOWN — Across Woodward from the soon-to-open new Rock City Eatery location, chef-driven fast-casual 2941 Street Food has posted signage announcing company’s second location. The interior buildout still appears to have quite ways to go. The Mediterranean and Middle Eastern concept opened its first location in Rochester Hills in December. [EaterWire]
