REOPENING REPORT — Delays in construction, the kind Detroit restauranteurs are all too familiar with, are working out to diners’ advantage this time around. Celebrated Coney island-based pop-up Flowers of Vietnam will return this weekend and continue to operate on Friday and Saturday evenings throughout the summer. Local law enforcement are also invited to come to the restaurant in uniform for a free prix fixe meal if they agree to engage in dialogue with the community. [Metro Times]
