VITAL UPDATES — The times they are changing. For the last 69 years fried dough institution Dutch Girl Donuts has been cash-only, but recently the shop joined the age of plastic currency. For purchases more than $5.25 doughnut fanatics may now pay with a credit card. [EaterWire]

NEWS — Antietam’s current executive chef Seth High has introduced a six-course tasting menu at the eatery, offered on Fridays and Saturdays. This month High became a partner in the restaurant joining owner Gregory Holm. [EaterWire]
