Bucharest Grill's takeout-only outpost on Michigan Avenue is getting a new seating area. Owner Bogdan Tarasov confirms to Eater that the Corktown restaurant is undergoing an expansion that will add more than 20 seats to the building. The owner expects the project to be completed by mid-June barring any construction complications.
The shawarma slinger's west side location opened in March 2014. It was the first step in a big expansion for the mini chain, which included a restaurant near New Center and a move to East Jefferson. The company is expected to open a new restaurant on the Avenue of Fashion later this year.
