Watch the James Beard Awards' Profile of Al-Ameer in Dearborn

The Lebanese restaurant was honored with an JBF America's Classics Award on Monday night

During a ceremony held last night at Chicago's Lyric Opera House the James Beard Foundation revealed this year's elite class of restaurants and chefs. Al-Ameer Restaurant co-founders Khalil Ammar and Zaki Hashem were among the evening's honorees, taking home an America's Classics Award for their Lebanese dining institution. Here is the video created by the Beard Foundation to highlight Al-Ameer's achievement.
