POP-UPS — Former Detroit-based chef Tunde Wey's pop-up Lagos returns to Detroit on April 6 with a new theme, "Blackness in America." On his website, Wey describes the dinners as a gathering where diners "explore this theme from the perspective of a guest collaborator. They will share personal stories, discussing how their life and work intersects with blackness." ANN ARBOR — A new outpost of fast-casual chain restaurant Piada Italian Street Food is headed for downtown Ann Arbor. The 1,800-square-foot restaurant is slated to swing open April 1 with wrap-style piada sandwiches, salads, and past bowls. [MLive]
