BEER HERE —€” Downtown's new café ASHE Supply Co. collaborated on a new coffee beer with neighbor Detroit Beer Co. Called "Won't you be my neighbor" the brew is a El Salvadoran coffee bean-infused stout with "flavors and aromas of toffee, chocolate, and caramel." The beer hit taps at DBC today and will remain part of the lineup for several weeks. [EaterWire]

THE CHAINS —€” Allen Park is gaining an outlet of fast-casual chain Blaze Pizza. The new 32-seat location swings open March 21 in the Fairlane Shopping Center across from Home Depot. On March 22 the restaurant will celebrate its grand opening with free build-your-own pizzas from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. for anyone who follows Blaze on social media. [EaterWire]

NEWS —€” In the eyes of Detroiters Baker's Keyboard Lounge was already a landmark, but now the iconic Livernois restaurant and bar has the official government-granted status to prove it. The Detroit City Council on Tuesday approved the club's application for a designation as a historic district. [Detroit News]

BOOZE NEWS —€” Detroit's Atwater Brewery is teaming up with Flemish Fox Brewery and Craftworks on a collaborative brewery in Austin, Texas. The 27,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in early 2017 with a tasting room, beer garden, brewing museum, and concert venue. [Detroit News]
