Fancy accessory maker Shinola is continuing its expansion into the Cass Corridor. Crain's reports that the company is expected to expand into the red brick Blue Valley Creamery building located on Selden Street near Selden Standard and Redmond Plaza. Plans call for the building to be developed into a cafe and production center for headphones and other music equipment. The project is part of a three-building development in the corridor.

This wouldn't be the first cafe operation for Shinola. The company's flagship retail store on Canfield operates a cafe serving Sightglass Coffee, Sister Pie pastries, and sandwiches by Bigalora.
