DISASTER REPORT — In the midst of the ongoing Flint water crisis, state and county officials are encouraging bars and restaurants in the city to get a free water safety inspection. [AP]

DEALFEED — Royal Oak will host restaurant week February 26 through March 6. More than 20 restaurants and bars are participating including Bigalora, B Spot, Bistro 82, and ROAK. [EaterWire]

BEER HERE — Birmingham's Griffin Claw Brewing Company has developed a specialty beer for Buddy's Pizza. The Buddy Brew is an American pale wheat ale made with coriander and grapefruit peel that's apparently "a bright golden yellow color reminiscent of freshly baked pizza dough." The beer is currently on tap at eight of the pizza chain's restaurants. [EaterWire]
