CASS CORRIDOR — It appears Jim Brady's has secured the former Chung's restaurant space on the corner of Cass and Peterboro for its forthcoming Detroit location. "Chung's was one of those memories from my childhood," restaurateur Tom Brady tells Metro Times. "My dad always said they had the best egg rolls. But once it started getting more violent, we kind of stopped going." The owners are anticipating a 2017 opening for the Detroit location. [Metro Times/Detroit News]
