If you’re a fan of Gilmore Girls, you’re probably remember the Luke’s Diner pop-ups that swept the nation’s cafes in October. You may have even attempted to get up at 5 a.m. and beat the masses to your friendly, local coffee shop for a free cup of coffee wrapped in blue and yellow Luke’s-branded coffee sleeve. Or perhaps, you were one of the unlucky ones who had to leave the ‘round the block lines (because work) without one of those coveted pieces of Gilmore Girls revival memorabilia.
Well, fellow Gilmore Girls obsessives, you’re in luck. There’s still a lot of leftover memorabilia floating around (for example: on eBay). Capitol Park’s very own Urban Bean Co. has announced that it will be auctioning off its leftover Luke’s swag, including those navy blue aprons and hats and displays.
Unlike the eBay auctions, the proceeds from the Urban Bean Co. sales will be going to charity and patrons are encouraged to nominate their favorites. The auction pop-up is slated to take place in January. Eater has reached out for more details. Stay tuned.
