On Wednesday, November 16, Eater will present the 2016 Eater Awards, our seventh annual celebration of all that's made the restaurant world run — and run wild — in the past 12 months. Winners will be selected on both the local and national levels in five major categories, and the voting begins right now. The polls are now closed for restaurant of the year, chef of the year, and best restaurant design. Today we’re zooming in on the city’s best new drinking destinations. Which new restaurant beverage program or new watering hole stood out from the crowd? Cast your vote in the poll below.

Here's how the voting works: Eater editors have named nominees in Detroit for each of five major categories. Editors will pick a separate group of winners, and readers will vote to award one nominee in each category with a readers’ choice award. Ready to play your part? This poll will be open for 24 hours starting at 11 a.m. EST on November 10 and closing at 11 a.m. EST on November 11; voting irregularities will be strictly policed. A final poll will go live on November 11, so make sure to tune in.

Update: This poll is now closed. Please click the link below to find the latest poll.
