Mini burger lovers of Birmingham are set to receive a new haunt next month. DBusiness reports that Rojo Mexican Bistro owner Dan Linnen is opening a slider bar called Sidecar. Located in a 1,600-square-foot space next to Rojo, the restaurant seats 92 diners. The design will incorporate reclaimed wood from Bay City and a granite bar.
Similar to slider restaurants like Green Dot Stables in Detroit, Sidecar will offer a rotating selection of fillings such as Ahi tuna with Asian slaw. However, chef Andy Stevens has taken the model a step farther by creating seven different buns options. Sidecar is slated to open in February.
