EXPANSIONS — Royal Oak's River Rouge Brewing has been approved for expanded hours and seating. The nano brewery was also granted licensing for hard cider production and wine productions. River Rouge also plans to add TVs to its tasting room. [Oakland Press]
RUMORMONGERING — If anyone was worried that the ever-busy Rosie O'Grady's in Ferndale was closing, fear not. Detroit Free Press staffers quashed rumors on Tuesday that the Metro Detroit sports bar was shuttering. FOOD MEDIA — National media, from The New York Times to Bon Appetit to Zagat, and have spent the last year touring Detroit's restaurants and praising the culinary scene. The Washington Post joins their ranks this week with special attention to Central Kitchen + Bar, Rose's Fine Food, Antietam, Gold Cash Gold, Wright & Co., Two James, and forthcoming Brush Park restaurant Grey Ghost.
