Katoi Aims to Finish Construction This Month; Atomic Chicken's New Logo

CORKTOWN — Long awaited Corktown eatery Katoi is showing its first signs of progress on its exterior with the addition of a new painted sign. Courtney Henriette tells Eater the crew hopes to wrap construction by the end of the month with the slight possibility of a February opening. [EaterWire]

NEW CENTER — Here's the new logo for Atomic Chicken, a chef-driven, fast casual chicken & waffles restaurant headed for Woodward this year. The company tagline is "Chicken with an attitude." The restaurant is expected to debut in the first quarter of 2016. [EaterWire]

WOODBRIDGE — Pie Sci is slowly making progress on its build-out. The team poured concrete last week and worked on framing for the kitchen and bathroom. Meanwhile, the group has secured an official web domain, although (like the restaurant) it's still under construction. [Facebook]

EASTERN MARKET — Stache International's garage door has been installed. The restaurant is expected to open on January 14. [Facebook]
