A new Japanese concept appears to be taking up residence in the former Cilantro space in downtown Detroit. Founded by chef Ian Diem in Flint, Chubby Duck's menu features a variety of sushi hand rolls, soups, salads, and raw juices. The interior still appears to be in the throes of a build-out and Eater is reaching out for more details on a possible opening timeline. Stay tuned.
