President Barack Obama is paying a well-publicized visit to Detroit today to take stock of the auto industry. Following his arrival at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport, POTUS was whisked off to lunch at Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria and Brewery by Mayor Mike Duggan. Shinola's founder Tom Kartzotis, Henry Ford Health Center's Dr. Tolulope Sonuyi, and UAW autoworker Teana Dowdell also joined the group, according to The Detroit Free Press.

Crowds gathered outside to gawk at the president, as chilly-looking secret service agents kept watch from the roof of the restaurant.
There's still no word on what exactly POTUS ate, but it mostly likely included some pizza and beer.

Obama is expected to visit the North American Auto Show at Cobo Center today, although he's notably not visiting the city of Flint that struggling through an ongoing water crisis.
Update, 1/20, 4:46 p.m.: According to an extremely grainy video, Obama went for "a regular old cheeseburger" cooked "medium well" with cheese, bacon, mushrooms, a salad, and order of truffle fries.
